Item:  I give and bequeath my soul to God that gave it to me and my body
to the earth from which it came to be buried at the decretion of my executors
here afer named in sure and certain hopes to enjoy full resurrection to the
glory of the last day.

Item: I give to my son, Abraham HOOD, one hundred and thirty acres of
land adjoining to his plantaion, to him and his heirs forever.

Item:  I give to my sone Robert HOOD seventy five acres of land including
the plantation he now lives on, to him and his heirs forever.

Item:  I give to my son Tucker HOOD, seventy five acres of land it being the
plantation I now live on.

Item: I give to my daughter Prudence VAUGHAN, one box and two heaters.

Item:  I give to my daughter, Mary HOOD, one bed and furniture a cow and
calf which are now in her possession.

Item:  I give to my loving wife, the rest of my estate during her life or widow-
hood and after her decease to be equally divided between all of my children.

Last of all I do appoint my sons Robert and Tucker HOOD executors of this,
my last will and testament to see it fully and faithfully performed in witness
where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 19th day of December
1774 and my will and desire that my estate may not be apraised.
