In the Name of God, Amen.
I John Vaughan, being very
weak in body but of sound mind and memory,
calling to mind that it is
appointed for all men to die doth make this my last
will & Testament. In
the first place, I give and bequeath unto my beloved
wife Judy Vaughan all my
housel furniture and with my horses, cattle and
hogs as long as she lives,
and then for her to devide all that property equally
between Polly Wilson, Benjamin,
and Isham, a son of my daughter Clarey's
to have his part equal to
the other three, and there is William and Agathe and Jonathan--shall have
five shillings each. Whereof I have hereunto subscibed
my hand and caused my seal
to be affixed. The 10th day of April, 1820.
