First, I direct that all my just debts including
funeral expenses
and the expenses of administration shall first
be paid.
Second, I give and devise all that part of my real
estate being and lying in
Section One (1) and Section Twelve (12) Township
Thirty (30) Range Twenty
Two (22) together with the appurtenances thereunto
belonging to my son
Robert A. Vaughan on condition that he shall have
the graves of my children
that are now dead and buried in this county, namely
Joseph Vaughan and
Wm. Vaughan enclosed in a plain and workman like
manner with stone fixed
as durable as is practical with marble head and
foot stones. And that he shall
also have the grave of my wife Elmira Vaughan fixed
in a like manner
and also that he shall have my grave enclosed in
a plain workmanlike manner
with stone and fixed as permanently as is practical
with marble head and foot
stones. All the graves herein mentioned to
have the usual appropriate lettering
on the stones and in addition mine to have the
date on which I professed
religion which was the 10th day of June ad 1834.
Third, I give and devise the remainder of my real
estate which is in Section
Six (6) and Section Seven (7) Township Thirty (30)
range Twenty One (21)
to my two daughters Mary E. Clarkson and Caroline
Payne in equal shares
reserving or excepting 1.5 rods square where there
is now a small grave yard
in which one of my children is buried.
Forth, I bequeath to my son Robert A. Vaughan one
bed with its usual
furnishings.
Fifth, I bequeath to my two daughters Mary E. Clarkson
and Caroline Payne
all the remainder of my household and kitchen furniture
in equal parts or
shared.
Sixth, I direct that all the remainder of my personal
property shall be sold
and the proceeds applied to the payment of my debts
and I hereby appoint
my son Robert A. Vaughan the executor of this my
last will.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 14th day of April 1892.
