Note: Many years ago I obtained this probate document of John Vaughan of Chazy, NY. He is one of the children of my ancestors,
John Vaughan and Abigail Stark, of Middle Hero, VT and Chazy,
NY. Because this uncle died intestate, a search was made for the
heirs and next of kin, and the administration turned out to be a
very informative document. I hope this can help someone find
their family!

leaving children of whom I (the person who wrote up the paperwork)
know nothingGeorge Vaughan - Supposed to be dead. Left his family in 186?
thus not been heard from since fall of that year. His family

Apparently John and Sarah Vaughan had no children of their
own. None are mentioned in this document and there is a sworn
affidavit that these are all the people who might have a claim to
the estate.
