Note from Deborah:
John Henry and Mary Jane Vaughn were my gr-grandparents.
John Henry moved around so much, and would leave Mary Jane for months at a time. I also have found out that John Henry tried robbing trains, I don't know if he really succeeded with this crime spree or not, but that while Mary Jane lived in LA, he would get word to her that he would come to their place on a certain night, and she would hang a bag full of food & clothes in a tree for him!
