The information below is from a collection, by one person, that was donated to the library.  The
obituaries were clipped  from the newspapers, Houston TX area, and pasted on index cards that
list the name and date of death.  Names of the papers are not included on the cards.  Birth years
are all estimated for identification only and are in ( ).

Vaughan, Mrs. I. M., 82, 1104 Haverty Street, Houston TX,
September 14, 1960

         Mrs. I.M. Vaughan, 82 (born-1878), mother of Mrs. Opal Reagan,
of Conroe, died at 2:20 pm Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Blythe Stutts, 1104 Haverty Street in Houston.

        Mrs. Vaughan, a native of Groveton, had been ill for some time,
and had been making her home in Houston.

        FUNERAL SERVICES WILL be held at 11a.m. Friday, September
16, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Livinston with interment in Livingston.

        In addition to Mrs. Reagan and Mrs. Stutts, Mrs Vaughan is
survived by another daughter, Mrs. Jackie Strm of Victoria; two sons,
J.H. Vaughnan and Ted Vaughan, both of Houston; 20 grandchildren
and 35 great-grandchildren.
