      Joseph Vaughn
      Akron, Ohio  July 14, 1998

       
       

      Joseph Vaughn, 86, died Tuesday, July 14, 1998.

      Mr. Vaughn was born in Virginia and, prior to his retirement,  farmed for the
      Stouffer Co. He was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple, and enjoyed bowling
      and hunting.

      Preceded in death by son, James, Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife, Grace;
      daughter, Elizabeth Anne Moore-Hooker and her husband, Bill Hooker; eight grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

      The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Today at Ciriello Funeral Home---
      Rose Hill Chapel, 3653 W. Market St. Graveside services at 1:30 p.m. Friday
      at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Dr. Charles Billington officiating.
