---Vaughn, James Columbus Sr., 84, Rabon Chapel, Conroe TX
May 26, 1960---

        Funeral services for James Columbus Vaughn, Sr., 84, of Rabon
Chapel Community, will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 28, in
Rabon Chapel Church of Christ, with Rev. V.E. Copeland and Rev.
L.B. McLenny officiating.

        Vaughn, a resident of Montgomery Co since 1917, was born June
6, 1875 in Falls, TX.  He died at 11:30 p.m., Thursday, at his residence.

        He was a member of the Rabon Chapel Church of Christ.

        Surving is his widow, Mrs. Molly Vaughn of Montgomery; three daughters, Mrs. Z. Rabon of Montgomery, Mrs. Jewel Crowlwey of
Houston, and Mrs. Walter Kruger.

        Robert C. Harris, J.L. of Waller; Four sons, W.P. Vaughn, and
J.C. Vaughn of Houston TX; Herman Vaughn of Montgomery, and S.J. Vaughn of Temple; one sister, Mrs. Della Allee of Houston TX. 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

        Interment will be in Rabon Chapel Cemetery. Metcalf Funeral
Directors in charge.

        Pallbearers will be James E. Rudd, Earl Rudd Jr., James O.
Vaughn, Robert C. Harris, and J.L. King and Clarence Lastovica.
