of his grandaughter, Mable Vickers Miller in Tulot, AR that could be
from a Limestone Co. AL paper or possiblly a Birmingham
or Decatur, AL paper . No date listed.
“Tanner Resident Called By
Death"
Jim Vaughn, widely beloved resident of Tanner, died
at his home there at
1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the age of 93
years. He is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Susie Olinger of St. Louis and
Mrs. Ed Vickers of Tanner;
12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and
one great, great grand
child. Mr. Vaughn was the grandfather of Mrs. B.R.
Ross, of Decatur, AL.
Mrs. Ross and children and Mrs. L.O. Clark of Birmingham,
went to
Tanner today to attend funeral services.”
