      Ida A. Plum, 93, of the Cedar Falls Health Care Center,  formerly of 625
      Grover Court, Waterloo, died at the center Monday, Feb. 15, of natural
      causes.

      She was born Feb. 14, 1906, in Eldora, daughter of Benjamin and Phoebe
      Walton Vaughn. She married David Albert Plum on Nov. 24, 1923, in
      Eldora. He died Jan. 15, 1990.

      Mrs. Plum was a domestic housekeeper and, along with her husband, ran
      Plum's Well Drilling Co. for many years, retiring in 1975.

      Survived by: a daughter, Marilyn Boss of Odgen, Utah; 17 grand- children,
      32 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grand- children; and two
      sisters, Mina Beal of Waterloo and Leona Kegan of Baltimore, Md.
      Preceded in death by: four sons, David Keith, Donald Leroy, Michael Allen
      and Albert Duane; a daughter, Ida Mae Hestad; and four sisters, Effie
      Morkel, Ruth Scott, Mable Scott and Sadie Vaughan.

      Memorial services: 7 p.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel
      on Kimball, Waterloo. Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. until services at the
      chapel.

      Memorials: may be directed to March of Dimes.
