Eliza J. Dameron - died at the residence of her son in law, John Vaughan, near Mt. Airy, Randolph Co., Mo. on l4 Oct l873, in the 73rd
year of her age.  She was born in Caswell Co., N. C. on 30 Oct l800.
She was happily married to W. M. Damerson, l8 Dec l8l9 and in the
fall of l829, they came to Randolph Co., Mo. where she was one of the
7 who organized the first Methodist  in the county.   She was left a
widow with 8 children  on 9 June l838.  She lived to see all of them
happly married, and better still, to see seven of them members of the
MECS.  The youngest son in Calif.
