Jimmy David Vaughn, 62, longtime resident of Jacksonville and St.  Augustine, went to be with
his Lord on May 31, 2006.

Born Dec. 31, 1943,  in Greenville, S.C., he was the son of the late Robert E. and Margaret 
(Christopher) Vaughn.

He owned and operated J. D. Vaughn and Sons  Plumbing Inc. Jimmy was a Mason with
W.M. Burnett Lodge and was an active  Shriner. An avid fisherman, he belonged to the N.E.
Florida Marlin Association.  His love of fishing brought many friends, trophies and awards.
He was also a  member of the Elks Lodge.

Left to mourn his passing are two loving sons,  Shawn David Vaughn and James Casey Vaughn.
Also surviving are two brothers, Eddy  (Almeda) Vaughn of Simpsonville, S.C., and Sammy
(Diane) Vaughn of Daytona  Beach; two sisters, Becky (Tommy) Austin of Simpsonville, S.C.,
and Mary Ann  (Roddy) King of Daytona Beach; and special friend and companion, Debi Peirson; 
and a devoted dog, Angel. Jimmy leaves behind a multitude of loving family and  friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 3,  2006, at 1 p.m. at the Morocco Temple,
3800 South St. Johns Bluff Road,  Jacksonville, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be  directed to the Morocco Temple.
