George Vaughan Dies at Turlock, California
 
Wilson Vaughan received the sad intelligence that his brother, George, who  has been residing in
Turlock, California for a number of years, passed away Monday as the result of an attack of
pneumonia fever and other  complications. 
 
The deceased formerly resided in the Flatwoods country near Tuscumbia, and  was held in high
esteem by his friends and neighbors.
 
Mr. Vaughan is survived by two brothers, W. M. (Wilson Milton) and J. D.  (Jeff Davis) Vaughan
of this place and also by a number of children.  While  they resided in this county, the family
consisted of Maud, Ida, Daisey and  George Jr.  Daisey married Byron Jobe but she has been
dead a number of  years.  She having burned to death in California in a gasoline  explosion."
