Brownsville, Marlboro Co, SC.
From research we have five
South Carolina death certificates but all info is different. One of the death certificates says her
maiden name was Morrison but much of info from these has been incorrect.
She was born in Union Co.,
NC However Union Co split from Anson Co
NC about 1847 and so she would have been born in Anson NC. She is first found in 1880 Brownsville
Marlboro SC and lived there until 1910.
Her family did go to
Charleston for work during that time but returned to Marlboro. Not sure why she is in Greenwood. A cousin does not think this death
certificate is her.

He died 24 Nov 2004 in
Johnsonville, Florence Co, SC.
He is buried at Old
Johnsonville Cemetery.
His son was the person who
did the test.
The Vaughns that were in
Anson NC, included the Stephen Vaughn who is also in the Vaughan project. Stephen Vaughn had a brother Evan who lived
in Chesterfield SC across the boarder from Union Co. If there was some hanky panky, he had the opportunity.
