Fielding Vaughan and Elizabeth (Bessie) Vaughan were my
great-grandparents from Mobile, Alabama. They died in 1910
and 1922, respectively. I have the original death certificates.

Fielding Vaughan III was married to Elizabeth (Bessie) Cavanaugh. They had four children: Mabel, Dorothy,
Lillian and James F. Fielding was an attorney in Mobile, Alabama, until he had to retire 10 years before his death
due to TB. He had two brothers, George R. and David.
George owned a hardware store in Mobile while David ran
the family plantation in Selma.His grandfather was Fielding Vaughan Sr. Fielding
Vaughan’s children were Charles S., James H., Fielding
Jr., Virginia Mathews, Georgie Mitchell, Martha Cade,
Eliza Wilcox.
