Polly Vaughan, Nevison Holland and Meredith Holland are niece and nephews by his brother Job Holland. Barbara Wyatt, wife of William Wyatt, Robert Carson, Besty Carson, Andrew Carson and Meredith Carson are children of his sister Elizabeth Carson, dec’d. During the case, the widow Elizabeth m. Jacob K. Daughtry. Nov 1821 Court awarded the widow 1/5 of the estate in cash for dower. The balance was divided 2/12 to Barshaba Watson, 2/12 to Polly Watkins, 2/12 to Abram Holland, 2/12 to Elijah Holland, 2/12 equally to Nevison Holland, Meredith Holland and Polly Vaughan, and 2/12 equally between Barbara Wyatt, wife of William Wyatt, Robert Carson, Betsy Carson, Andrew Carson and Meredith Carson,

Isabella Pope purchased the 100 acres owned by the dec’d. Nancy Vaughan’s husband is not named.

Plat dividing the land. 237 acres. 50 acres dower land and 2 tracts of 118 ½ acres each. Widow received 1/9 of the slaves as heir of her deceased son and 1/3 of 8/9 of the slaves as dower.

Nov 1826 Petition. Hard to read. Jeremiah Bradshaw left a will. Made bequest to his wife, Jonas Bradshaw and Elbert Bradshaw, all of whom predeceased him without children. Solomon Butts excr. Louisa, Peggy, Solomon and Fanny Bradshaw are minors by Lemuel Vaughan gdn. Wiley and Patsy Bradshaw. Sale: Wiley Bradshaw purchased some slaves; Daniel Beal tract 100 acres sold to Jesse Lankford; old tract 100 acres sold to Lemuel Vaughan; Amy Brewer tract 10 acres sold to Wiley Bradshaw. 1 May 1827 issued bonds payable to: Wiley Bradshaw $104.77 3/4; Martha Bradshaw $104.77 3/4; Louisa Bradshaw $104.77 3/4; Margaret Bradshaw $104.77 3/4; Fanny Bradshaw $104.77 3/4; Solomon Bradshaw $104.77 3/4. Note: all of the Bradshaws appear to be siblings of the deceased. There is no indication Jeremiah Vaughan is related to any of them.
