Molly Vaughan died leaving one surviving son Archibald Vaughan. Clement Read is guardian for Archibald. Sought to divide estate into ten equal parts. 26 Dec 1809. One-half of slaves allocated to David Vaughan. The balance were sold. £36 paid to Archibald Vaughan and £40.11.10 (£37.17.10 after expenses) was allocated to each of the ten plaintiff’s and defendants.
